What kind of adhesive does pl premium use?
First, brownstone is a type of sandstone and the PL Premium can bond to the material as long as it is structurally sound and dry. The adhesive will also bond to painted steel, but adhesion will only be as good as the paint coating is to the steel surface.

Can you use PL premium on a fire pit?
The PL Premium can work however we do not recommend using a construction adhesive on or near a fire pit where heat is generated for safety reasons. Bonding surfaces that become too hot will cause adhesive failure and if exposed to flame the adhesive can burn. The preferred method of application is using a mortar type product for safety reasons
