The program provides incoming first-time college students for the fall semester the opportunity to attend College of the Canyons tuition free for their first two years (fall and spring semesters only).

Ideally, coordinated entry is a framework that transforms a CoC from a network of homeless assistance projects (similar to individual CoC programs) making individual decisions about whom to serve, into a fully integrated crisis response system.

What is math level?
Your math level indicates which math courses you are eligible to take. Depending on your program, the math course that you need will vary. You will be able to meet with an academic advisor to help you decide which math course to take, but in the meantime, you can look at the information here.

The coordinated entry (CE) process is an approach to coordination and management of a crisis response system’s resources that allows users to make consistent decisions from available information to efficiently and effectively connect people to housing and service interventions that will rapidly end their homelessness.
What is the VI Spdat?
The VI-SPDAT is a triage tool. It highlights areas of higher acuity, thereby helping to inform the type of support and housing intervention that may be most beneficial to improve long term housing outcomes. It also helps inform the order – or priority – in which people should be served.
What do you need to know about the COC exam?
Since the COC ™ exam tests examinees’ knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, it is highly recommended that individuals have prior knowledge in these areas or take the AAPC’s online Medical Terminology and Anatomy courses.
Where can I take my COC makeup test?
Test proctoring is currently available for makeup exams in COC face-to-face courses and for students requiring academic accommodations in COC face-to-face courses for the summer terms. Students must make arrangements with their instructor to take an exam at the Testing Center.
Can you take the AAPC COC exam online?
This course, offered online or in the classroom, is designed to prepare the student to take the AAPC COC ™ exam for a medical coding career in an outpatient facility such as an Ambulatory Surgical Center or hospital outpatient billing and coding department.
