Is Step 2 more like NBME or UWorld?
I took two NBME and both UWorld practice tests. The NBMEs were a little easier due to much shorter question stems. They weren’t very much like the actual test. The UWorld questions were much more similar to actual questions and I thought were more reflective of the real test.
Is NBME similar to Step 2 CK?
Step 2 CK is a 9-hour exam taken at the beginning of the fourth year of medical school after completing the core clerkships. The test essentially feels like a really long shelf exam, but the style of questions is very similar since the NBME writes all of these exams.
