How does Panoptic Mirror work?
As Panoptic Mirror’s triggered ability resolves, it allows you to create a copy of one of the instant or sorcery cards imprinted on Panoptic Mirror in the Exile zone (that’s where the imprinted card is) and then cast it without paying its mana cost. Exiling a card when the activated ability resolves is optional.
Is Isochron Scepter banned in Commander?
I’m surprised central command at MTG did not see the flaw in this card’s power. Isochron Scepter should be banned. This isn’t really a rulings question, but yes, imprinting a Silence or a Counterspell onto an Isochron Scepter is totally legal.

As a keyword ability 502.34a Imprint is an activated or triggered ability, written “Imprint — [text],” where “[text]” is a triggered or activated ability. Why is Worldfire banned?

How does imprint work in magic?
Is Duplicant still an artifact?
As long as a card exiled with Duplicant is a creature card, Duplicant has the power, toughness, and creature types of the last creature card exiled with Duplicant. It’s still a Shapeshifter. Duplicant is an artifact creature with Shapeshifter subtype. This means it has two card types: Artifact and Creature.
How does Mirage mirror work MTG?
Mirage Mirror copies the printed values of the target permanent, plus any copy effects that have been applied to it. If you activate Mirage Mirror’s ability multiple times in a turn in response to itself, then each time one of those abilities resolves, it will overwrite whatever Mirage Mirror is copying.
