What’s the difference between oui and Wee in France?
I’ve spent a lot of time in France and still can’t quite figure out the difference, if any, between Oui, pronounced ‘wee’ and oui, pronounced ‘way’. It seems maybe that ‘way’ is informal or in response to some comment, like saying ‘yeh’ in English, kind of agreeing and ‘wee’ may be in response to a direct question? But i really don’t know?
