The Hi Point carbine has a reputation for reliability. It’s not uncommon to hear of a few hundred rounds going through this gun with no hiccups, no jams, and no failures. You may also hear stories of rusty or old Hi Point . 45 carbines being used without any issues (not that I would recommend it!).
