How do Siamp valves work?
The fill valves work as follows: there’s a small hole in the diaphragm through which water flows under a slight pressure. There is a second hole in the body of the valve through which the water leaks into the cistern when open. This hole is closed off when the water gets to the required level.

Water goes up through the pinhole in the Top Cover Pinhole Cone. The Pin in the Diaphragm hole may be pushed up. The Diaphragm goes up opening the valve. Water rushes through the Silent Fill Valve Support Tube as it flows from Inlet to Outlet and into the Cistern.

Why is my push button toilet running?
