How do I trim in ArchiCAD?
To Trim, you simply hold Cmd or Ctrl and click on the edge you wish to remove. This will be trimmed to the nearest intersecting edge.

When editing the footprint of a roof, modify properties of its boundary lines to change the roof overhang.

How do you trim a curtain wall in archicad?
Delete the Fill and view your edited Curtain Wall. Activate the Fill tool and draw any shape on the Curtain Wall surface. Use Design > Curtain Wall > Boundary Editing in Section > Subtract Fill from Boundary, or Add Fill to Boundary. The Curtain Wall Boundary is modified accordingly….

I’ll draw a couple of lines here and then click the last point to finish it. Click it an extra time to finish that, and then I’ll draw, say, a rectangle along here. So, if I go to 3D, these actually show up in 3D. This is, even though it’s just lines, a morph that shows up in 3D, and of course, this rectangle, which is closed.
