Do I need to book to go to Westhampnett tip?
Slots can now be booked up to 14 days in advance but must be booked by the day before you plan to visit. You will be able to make one trip in a week (Monday-Sunday) per household and are asked to continue using a site local to you rather than travelling further afield.

Single axle trailers are now accepted at most Household Waste Recycling Sites excluding Littlehampton, Horsham and Bognor Regis. Residents will still need to bring a permit for these types of vehicle. The Westhampnett HWRS is now accepting construction materials. This includes soil, hardcore, plasterboard and asbestos.

Frequently yes. All councils operate slightly differently, but many local councils that allow vans will only let them on site if they have the required permit. Permits are usually free to local residents who want to dispose of household junk, but you will need to apply in advance of your trip.

Milton Household Recycling Centre has significantly reduced capacity due to social distancing measures we have put in place. Please help us by avoiding unnecessary visits. All visitors, including e-permit holders, must book a time slot to enter Milton Household Recycling Centre.
