How long is a period at NAIT?
Most apprenticeship programs are 3-4 periods in length, with an average of 8 weeks for each training period. In addition, there are specific allotments of on-the-job training hours associated with each period, so most apprentices complete 1 period per calendar year.
How much does it cost to attend NAIT?
Total NAIT and living costs: $32,290-41,290* For the 2020/21 academic year, students who take all their courses virtually are exempt from the U-Pass for transit. All fees are subject to change.
How do I put money on my Nait card?
Funds can be deposited to student cards using debit or credit card. Parents will require the student ID number and date of birth to deposit funds. A receipt will be sent to the email address entered on the payment page upon successful completion of a deposit.

How do I get a NAIT student ID? Your NAIT ID will be sent to you in an email after you have completed and submitted your online application. You will need this unique ID to create a MyNAIT Portal account.

NAIT’s Fitness Weight Centre, Fitness Studio and Gymnasium are closed until further notice. Our Arena is open for external bookings only. NAIT has an NHL-sized multipurpose arena that is home to our amazing Ooks athletics teams, surrounded by a 188-metre walking/running track!
