Can kids under 13 use YouTube Music?
Currently, any child under the age of 13 cannot use YouTube Music in any capacity, meaning when you switch from one service to the other, they’ll lose all of their music and playlists instantly with no way to get it back until they turn 13.
Why is YouTube Music not available for children?
Im not trying to watch videos, i want to create playlists on his account to match the ones he has in google play music. Is this wrong redirect or YouTube Music will not work with child accounts? Nope, because YouTube requires you to be 13 years old to have an account.
How do I give my child access to my music on YouTube?
Unfortunately, we do not support Family Link accounts for members under 13 years of age on YouTube Music. This is a huge shortcoming of the service in my eyes and I hope everyone submits feedback regarding this. You can do this using both the app and web player by tapping your profile icon and then “feedback”.

What happens to family link when child turns 13?
When your child turns 13 (or the applicable age in your country), they have the option to graduate to a normal Google Account.
