What mods to put on HEK?
Here’s a zero-forma (does need a reactor though) build I found on overframe.gg:
- Point Blank.
- Blaze.
- Hell’s Chamber.
- Scattered Justice (Steel Meridian syndicate mod, you can buy it from your syndicate console in your Orbiter or from their HQ at any of the relays.)
- Toxic Barrage.

How do I get KUVA HEK?
Kuva Hek is obtained by vanquishing a Kuva Lich who generated with one equipped. After the Lich is vanquished it will be in the player’s Foundry ready to claim. While the weapon itself is not tradeable, a converted Kuva Lich generated with the weapon can be traded to another player.
Is there a hek prime?
The Hek is a Grineer weapon, so the odds of it getting a prime are non-existent. The Vaykor Hek is rather nice, albeit a Syndicate weapon. They could release a Wraith edition, but with the flak that flew when the Boltor got a 3rd incarnation I suspect they might be hesitant.

You can get the Blaze Mod by gaining access to Nightmare Mods. You can get Nightmare Mods through completing Nightmare missions. Nightmare missions will only begin once you finish all the missions in the planet.
How do you spawn Lich larva?
Kuva Larvlings will only spawn after you have completed the The War Within Quest. After the screen flashes in any level 20+ Grineer mission, players are required to kill at least 10 enemies in under 1 minute for the Kuva Larvling to spawn.
Is HEK better than Vaykor HEK?
If you have Primed Ravage and/or the Crit mods from Operation: Shadow Debt the Vaykor takes the lead. If you lack these mods or just don’t feel like forma-ing the weapon as much then opt for the Hek.
