How do Kadee Uncouplers work?

Kadee® Magne-Matic® Couplers are designed so it takes two things to uncouple them: a magnetic uncoupler and slack between the couplers. The uncoupling is accomplished over a magnetic uncoupler, either permanent or electrical, mounted between the rails, under the track, or lowered into the road bed (electrical).
