The tree is located in the Tweed Shire about 200 metres from the beach but does not get direct salty winds. It’s watered 3 times a week and also gets quite a bit of rain and is growing in a 200 mm deep organic soil with pure sand below. It’s mulched over the top with tea tree mulch and sometimes a few grass clippings.
