During the major incident with a flame spirit which destroyed the Instructional School, he managed to escape with Restia. Thus, she was reunited with him again and shortly after, with the help of Greyworth Ciel Mais he broke her seal. She later accompany Kamito through the previous Blade Dance as his contracted spirit.
Who is the fake Ren Ashbell?

In one of the side stories, it was mentioned that he could only awaken as the Demon King by killing the one most precious to him, in Volume 11, he unintentionally pierced Restia using Est seemingly killing her in the process, but was awakened because of a delayed spell.

Rubia Elstein is a supporting character and temporary antagonist of Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. She’s an elementalist using the fire titan spirit Laevateinn, and the elder sister of Claire Rouge. In the Blade Dance tournament, she was the leader of «Team Inferno», representing the Alphas Theocracy.

Kazehaya Kamito seems to be the successor of the «Demon King» because he is the second known male elementalist in history. He is based on King Solomon, and his legends for controlling demons. According to legend, «Scorpia», the demon scorpion palace in Alphas Theocracy, used to be his residence.

Restia Ashdoll is a main character from Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. She is a high-level darkness spirit and the contracted spirit of Kamito Kazehaya. Once wielded by Demon King Solomon a thousand years ago, she was later used by cultists to attempt to find its reincarnation.
