How are photos put together in a mosaic?

Each element is a separate photo and when we combine it with other tiny pieces, there is a mosaic. While looking at such composition from a distance, we will perceive it as a single picture, but if we get closer, it becomes obvious that there are thousands of small photos neatly knocked into one mosaic like photo pixels.

How big is a full size mosaic photo?

Our standard resolution photo mosaic is over 300 megapixels, or about 18,000 x 18,000 pixels, which is good enough to print as large as 5ft x 5ft and still see all the small pictures in sharp detail.

Can a mosaic be made public or unlisted?

Your mosaics are always private by default. You can choose to make it public or unlisted. Creating a mosaic with our photo mosaic creator tool is easy, but perfecting it takes a little bit of know-how. There are many videos and interactive guides where we share some of these know-hows.
