Are ProCom heaters any good?
Top positive review. An Excellent, well-built little heater (I now own two of this model). This unit fit the bill perfectly. I have used a much larger PROCOM heater as my primary living space heater for many years and, as long as I clean out the pilot every year (shut off for the summer), it runs perfectly.

Do you need ventilation with Mr heater?
Mr. Heater is, indeed, “a fuel-burning appliance.” But here’s the safety point. Enerco in the literature provided with the heaters it sells points out that their heaters must be used with adequate ventilation.

Why are mr.heaters not legal in Canada?
I The reason these types of heaters are hard to find in Canada is that the safety codes don’t allow them. There are even a few states in the US that don’t allow them ( see the Mr. Heater website ). Your life will be in your hands. With no vent or flue pipe the combustion gases from the heater end up in the room/house with you.
