How do I join the youth academy Liverpool?
There are many ways to joining Liverpool FC Academy, however the most common are being scouted for a trial, then working your way through the Academy system. For some players, the preferred approach is sending video links of their skills to Academy staff.

How do you get a Liverpool trial?
Liverpool Football Club has an extensive worldwide scouting network to identify future players. Trials are by invitation only and we are not able to look at any requests by email. At no stage will any trialist be asked to pay money in advance or be required to fill a form in to return to the Club.
What age can you join Liverpool Academy?
The players are in the age range of 6-14 years. We will come back to you about the procedures for registration, checking in and checking out approximately one week before the academy opens.
Do you get paid in a football academy?
The answer is yes, Academy players get paid. Youth players receive a salary when they leave school and sign a professional contract. Like other industries where an apprentice receives a low wage before signing a professional contract. This is when players move into the Academy scholarship phase.
Can you take babies to Anfield?
Can I bring a baby into the Stadium? Yes. You can bring a baby to the Stadium, but they must have a valid match ticket and an allocated seat, even if they are a baby in arms.
Can a 16 year old go to a football match alone?
A child must be 14 years old or over to be able to attend a match unaccompanied. An under 14 child cannot attend on their own. They must have a responsible person aged 16 or over with them.
How does Liverpool Academy work?
Each year, The Academy trains and educates around 80-100 players. Each group is exposed to age-appropriate fundamental practices, which include small-sided games, technique repetition, and transition play in confined areas to ensure each player is exposed to both the attacking and defensive side of the game.
