Is cling wrap the same as press and seal?
When Glad Press’n Seal first appeared on the market, I saw it as an expensive version of plastic wrap and couldn’t see how it would be worth the extra money. It differs from cling wrap in that it creates an actual seal against a variety of surfaces, including plastic, paper, wood, metal, foam and glass.

Transfer paper hacks:
- Clear shelf paper instead of transfer paper.
- Painter tape makes great on fly transfer tape, and there is 60 yards on this roll!
- When in a pinch for transfer paper, use a roll of adhesive lint remover!
- Scotch tape can even be used as transfer tape for smaller transfers.
Is Glad Wrap toxic?
Is plastic wrap safe to use? Phthalates are probably toxic because they disrupt hormones, and these compounds can leach into food wrapped in plastics made with them. But as of 2006, almost all plastic wraps made in the United States are phthalate-free.
