Do you have to book Lido?
DO I NEED TO BOOK TO USE THE LIDO FACILITIES? Yes. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, all sessions for the pool, gym and classes must be prebooked. There are no walk in sessions.
Can children swim at London Fields Lido?
The swimming pool has lane swimming available all day, swimming lessons for children and adults, one-to-one swimming lessons and advice and instruction for members and non-members during our swimfit sessions.
Is the Lido Peterborough heated?
The Lido boasts three heated swimming pools, of which the main pool is 50m long, a teaching pool & paddling pool. We have sunbathing terraces and a large grass area within the facility.
What should I bring to Lido?
Bring your own equipment Yes, any pools that have re-opened will be operating a strict BYOF (Bring Your Own Float) system. Any equipment/aids used (floats, kick boards etc) will have to be your own, and you must ensure it is clean and identifiable as yours before you arrive. Also bring hand sanitiser.

What’s the best way to swim at London Fields?
Please follow the directional signs and move across to the appropriate side of the lane for each length. Try and leave at least 5 metres between yourself and another swimmer and if it’s possible to see a pace clock, then a 5 second gap is just as good. Wide stokes such as butterfly and breaststroke should be avoided when the lanes become busy.
