We typically recommend one module per foot on tanks deeper than 30 inches. On tanks less than 30 inches, one module every 18 to 24 inches is acceptable. Our latest generation System is significantly more powerful and produces greater spread than previous generations.
How do you reset a hydra 52?
To reset the light to factory state/firmware:
- Hold down the red button on the side of the light.
- Remove the power jack from the light itself.
- Push the power jack back into the light whilst still holding in the red button.
- Release the red button.

How do you sync AI prime?
On the Android app select ‘lights’ and on the IOS app select ‘devices’ from the parent control screen. You will be presented with lights that are connected as children and also lights that are not yet configured. Select any new lights that you wish to make children and select ‘connect’ to bond them to the parent light.
How do I update the AI Hydra firmware?
Steps:
- Connect the New Controller to a Windows-based PC.
- On the controller, select Menu, then scroll through to ‘Firmware Update’
- A Removable Storage device will appear on My Computer.
- Right-click on the current firmware file noted at the bottom of the page and SAVE/SAVE AS to your Desktop.
