Can you go beyond level 20 in D&D beyond?
There are no levels beyond 20, but boons and the like are optional rules which DDB have said are on the road map to be implemented but unfortunately take a back seat behind core game feature development. Same with things like spell points, there’s a lot of non-core rules still be to be supported.
How high of a level can you be in D&D?
Level 20
Level 20 is the max. If you multiclass you can reach a combined level of 20; 10 levels in one class, 10 in another, or whatever other combination. You cannot exceed a character level of 20. Character level and class level are different.
Does Beyond20 work on iPad?
One thing that will not work is using Beyond20 to bridge between D&D Beyond and Roll 20 using an iPad, since iPad does not allow desktop extensions.
What happens after level 20 DND 5e?
The gist of it is that for every 30000 XP a character earns past level 20, they receive an epic boon. The list of Epic Boons is on page 232; they are essentially like feats, but considerably more powerful. In AD&D 2e, and D&D 3e and 3.5e, rules are only given for up to level 20 in the Player’s Handbook.
How do you get boons on 5e?
A character might gain an epic boon after destroying an evil artifact, defeating an ancient dragon, or halting an incursion from the Outer Planes. The text of a boon addresses its user. Unless a boon says otherwise, a character can’t gain it more than once.
Does Beyond20 work with Edge?
If anyone is wondering, it works in the current version of Edge as well since Edge is built on top of Chromium and allows Chrome Extensions to be installed within Edge. It looks tiny bit different but still works just as well.

Is high level D&D fun?
Making high-level play challenging isn’t fun for the DM and other than the power fantasy it’s not fun for the players either. The difficulty of balancing high level isn’t the problem for me; it’s more practical aspects. For one, players start to get tired of their characters.
