Cabot DeckCorrect needs to be applied in two coats, and it has a relatively thick consistency. A double layer of thick stain isn’t the ideal surface to apply paint over. Therefore, we’d recommend stripping away any existing DeckCorrect before you paint and replacing it with a primer for outdoor paint.
