Is Edgenuity a bad program?
Edgenuity is by far the worst online learning platform I’ve ever encountered. For those who really matter, it’s a 1-star learning platform at best (and that’s pushing it). Of course, if you’re a parent of an Edgenuity student, you don’t need to read the reviews. Just ask your kids what they think.
Can you get a high school diploma from Edgenuity?
In order to receive a diploma through our high school program, students must complete at least six (6) credits through Edgenuity Virtual Academy. The prospective graduate is responsible for providing records of all previously completed high school course work in the form of an official transcript.
Do colleges accept Edgenuity?
Edgenuity’s state-specific versions of core courses are also accepted by the NCAA. If you further customize Edgenuity’s courses, however, the NCAA will review your customizations as part of your application to ensure that they are equivalent in length, content, and rigor to face-to-face courses.
Can Edgenuity record your screen?
It video records the student’s actions and also what is on their screens. With our own iHigh/Edgenuity courses, the only time students are required to be ‘proctored’ on site are for the midterm and final cumulative exams.
What can teachers see on Edgenuity?
With sorting and exporting features, teachers can easily assess student progress throughout the duration of the course. From this report, educators can also see whether any activities require grading. They can view student work from here, review and grade it, and leave feedback for students.
Can Edgenuity be used for homeschool?
Homeschool students can purchase licenses through their local school. Edgenuity offers professional development packages that include on-site or blended learning formats. Training topics include using basic functions of the product and incorporating Edgenuity into an existing environment.
