Are Start-Rite shoe sizes the same as Clarks?
What Is The Difference Between Clarks And Start-Rite Sizing? There are several opinions on this one – however, in general Start-Rite tend to be a little bit bigger than Clarks (some say a half size). However, just let us know and we can measure them for you! Our son is the same size in both brands.

To measure the width, first run your fingers down either side of the foot, you should be able to feel the toe joints. These are the bumps on either side of the foot just below the big and little toes. Position the tape so that it sits around the widest part of the foot.

- Hold the tape end out, parallel to the floor, and make sure you don’t twist the gauge.

Our shoes are made in whole and half sizes and a variety of width fittings to ensure you get the best possible fit for your child. Our width fittings are: E = Narrow F = Standard G = Wide H = Extra Wide All our shoes have growing room built in, so this has already been taken into account in the shoe size.
